Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Health
Our lab collaborates closely with the Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Health, a nationally recognized leader in surgical excellence and innovation. Together, we focus on advancing the science of transplantation through interdisciplinary research that bridges the clinic and the lab. NYU Langone’s transplant surgeons are not only at the forefront of complex organ transplantation but are also deeply committed to driving forward discoveries in immunology, organ preservation, and tissue regeneration. This partnership provides a unique environment where clinician–scientists and basic researchers work side by side to develop novel therapies that improve transplant outcomes and extend graft survival. Philanthropic support is critical to sustaining this work—enabling us to pursue high-risk, high-reward research, train future transplant researchers, and bring lifesaving innovations from bench to bedside.
